Welcome to Cardrive.in. By accessing or using our website (https://cardrive.in) or our mobile applications, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before booking any services.

1. Scope of Service

Cardrive.in operates as an on-demand driver-matching platform. We connect individual vehicle owners (Customers) with background-verified, professional drivers (Driver Partners) for temporary shifts, daily commutes, outstations, or monthly packages in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Puri.

2. User Eligibility & Account Registration

By creating an account and booking services, you warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into contracts under Indian law.
  • You own or have legal authorization to use the vehicle for which you are hiring a driver.
  • The vehicle is registered, roadworthy, and covered by a valid Comprehensive Third-Party Motor Insurance policy under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

3. Bookings, Pricing & Payments

All driver bookings, schedules, and duration estimates must be placed through our official website or mobile app.

  • Pricing: Pricing is computed dynamically based on package types (Hourly, Full Day, Weekly, Monthly) and selected vehicle tiers (Car/SUV). The current rates are published on our homepage and verified prior to checkout.
  • Payment Gateway: Payments are processed securely via our payment gateway partner, Razorpay. Payment must be cleared upfront at the time of booking.
  • OTP Verification: A secure OTP is generated for each booking. The customer must share this code with the driver to authorize the start of the trip.

4. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide all necessary vehicle documents (RC, Insurance copy, PUC certificate) to the driver partner upon request.
  • Ensure the vehicle contains sufficient fuel/charge and is fit for travel.
  • Refrain from using or requesting the service for any illegal, prohibited, or hazardous purposes.

5. Limitation of Liability

Cardrive.in performs strict KYC checks (including Aadhar and license verification) on all driver partners. However, Cardrive operates as an intermediary platform:

  • We are not responsible for any direct, indirect, accidental, or consequential damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle during the course of the booking.
  • Any claims or disputes regarding physical damage, traffic violations, or road accidents must be settled directly through the vehicle owner's motor insurance policy.

6. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
